The game is not mainly meant for a racing wheel, the game would also be extremely hard to play if you used a controller because if it was 360 degrees because you would need the spin animation to be wayyyy too fast to replicate how fast you can steer right now (GTA and even the Crew 2 does the same thing too) so forza is not the only game to be like this

I have the g29 and I'm loving it. Street and road is perfect, but I use controller for crosscountry and dirt. Did you follow Xpertgamingtech 's wheel settings? If you did try lowering force feedback to around 50-60%. That should help.

Practice. Set feedback to 100% and shift manually if you can. That's the only way, I got mine around two months ago and I'm loving it!

Just remember to set your force feedback high, stay on manual and just practice. I was ass at it when I first started, but you just have to get used to it
