Lamborghini Revuelto design overview with Mitja Borkert

Lamborghini's head of design, Mitja Borkert, gives us a detailed walkaround tour of the Raging Bull's all-new Revuelto plug-in hybrid V12 flagship. The all-new hypercar is built around an aviation-inspired carbonfibre mono-fuselage, while propulsion is provided by a 6.5-litre V12 that's supplemented by three electric motors. One electric motor is packaged in unison with the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the other two power each of the front wheels. In another Lambo first, the transmission is packaged behind the engine, as what used to be the transmission tunnel is now used to house a lithium-ion battery pack. Lamborghini quotes a 0-100kph split in less than 2.5sec and the Revuelto races past 200kph in under 7sec. Top speed is in excess of 350kph #lamborghini #revuelto #v12 #hybrid #style #design

I can feel the passion in Mr. Mitja's words, he truly loves this car and he has put all of his passion and love into it. The way he tought "Oh, I need a place for my cellphone, a cupholder, some cargo space" because he uses Lamborghini and wishes he had those things is MESMERIZING. The idea of a more practical fun car is always a good one, and this Revuelto is the epitome of that. I absolutely adore this car and it's design and listening to Mr. Mitja talk about it made me love it that much more. Also, I find it interesting how he didn't reveal the easter eggs! When you see the rear taillights from above they lots of little "Y"s that look cool as hell And also, the rear engine bay is designed in such a way that when the third brake light is on, in conjunction with the triangle between the exhaust pipes you can see the face of a bull horns and all. (That is my favorite design Easter Egg maybe of all time.)

The Aventador was and still is a terrific piece of design. Filippo Perini (ex-Lambo head of design) is a prodigy

@@GautamSharma99991 I hope you agree as a car enthusiast that this design is disappointing given the decade we waited for and the decade this thing will go for as a flagship, not to mention the price hike. The original Aventador was about 220K (in UK which is 300K in 2023) and this one is basically double the price.

@@cashbonanza963 I agree that the Aventador was a stellar piece of design. As for Revuelto, I want to see it out on the road (and track) before I make a judgement. Regarding the price increase, you need to factor in there's much more tech in this car than the Aventador, which was comparatively simple in both its hardware and software

@@cashbonanza963 Absolutely, three electric motors, battery pack and all the gubbins to make everything work. But it doesn't end there as the chassis control systems, cabin quality, interface etc is in a different universe to the original Aventador

I didnt like Revuelto at first but I really love her now, I would prefer ofc to look even more spaship like Aventador and Sian but she still looks stunning. if the extra paxkage black part between Y lights and normal lights is in body colour then Revuelto become super beautiful. But they need to do something with rims, Reventon and Aventador J had the best Rims in the world, so sci-fi, they must keep in mind to make more spaship like rims from now. The only thing i dont like on Revuelto is the pumber, if they change it to newer versions will be fantastic. the original Aventador was perfect, all newer versions with different pumber made her to loose her beauty, but it will different in Revuelto I believe. Very nice video ^.^

the front end is very weak looking. if you take away the triangular led lights, its just a simple angular headlight. looks like a typical 50k sports car, nothing exotic about it. The Aventador and even the Murcielago were something else

Rakshath: don't have an exact figure yet, but apparently the Revuelto generates up to 61 percent more downforce than the Aventador Ultimae

You can spec the part between running lights and the main light in body color, i think this looks better and helps with that big black area on the side

@@venoxx11 The configurator is available online. I tried it 3 days ago and it didn't allow me to change the black color between the vent and headlight, and I think Lambo won't allow that cuz it would look like a Huracan.
