Jzr, As someone who’s always just used free air roll and got comfortable with it, what would you suggest / advice would you give to me learning directional air roll? I know it takes time but can’t get my head round it hahaha. I’m going to be using both free and directional to be adaptive to all situations but stuck. Thanks

I use both however I used to only use free air roll. When I decided to implement air roll right I would simply fly around the map trying to understand the mechanic as well as watching detailed videos in air roll right/left. Then I started to go on freestyle training packs and just practice practice and when using it online for the first time it will certainly be weird and uncomfortable but then you learn bit by bit. I still use free air roll for small corrections like a simple ground shot or when just speed flipping or wavedashes. However once in the air only air roll right. Hope this helps :)

And one more thing, It was the best decision I’ve done for rocket league because the control in the air is so much better with a directional air roll. It’s much more precise once mastered
