We walked down the aisle to this song. My husband and I had an East meets West wedding. The groomsmen and my husband walked single file down the aisle during the song's intro. My bridesmaids and I carried wooden Chinese fans instead of bouquets and when the drum and bass kicked in, we flicked our fans open on the beat and walked down the aisle. Still one of the highlights of my life. 18 years on and now I sing this to my husband AND my precious 5 year old daughter.

When this album came out I was so taken by it that I made a fan site on Geocities for Lamb. They did not have an internet presence yet, it was the IRC and ICQ and Netscape era. With my great surprise I got contacted by the band’s entourage, they wrote me the band loved the site and they were about to tour my country, so they sent tickets for me and a friend, plus backstage passes to their first concert here. I still have a picture of young goofy me next to Lou and Andy. Everybody was very friendly, I saw the concert from the backstage area with access to free beer, it was so cool. After the concert I met Lou and Andy, we chatted a little bit, they mostly did the talk as I was really starstruck and my spoken english was not very good. They were very gracious, It was one of the best night of my life. Who knows if they still remember. Much love

Hot August, alone in the DJ booth, which was an upstairs room in a 150 year old house, playing this track, not knowing I'd vibrantly remember all of it over 20 years later. The heat, the smell of dust and that weird sense of loneliness that comes from playing music for people you can't see. Music like this can wield such incredible power over our lives.

Surprised there aren’t 100 more comments on here about that. This song was the PERFECT choice for the end credits of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. The double meaning of the lyrics for that last reveal, the moody/haunting melody, the atmospheric/ominous production. I never skip the end credits when watching it. It’s part of the late 90s teen horror/slasher package.

First listened in 1996 and this album changed my life. It took me down the path of trip hop. Sounds silly but this album is life defining for me. Gorecki is still my all time favorite track. They are brilliant together.
