Every Army is free to choose the period from which its historical uniforms are copied. The French like the Fin de Siecle 'Belle Epoque' style. Chilean full dress uniforms are practically a copy of the 1914 Imperial German/Prussian Army parade uniforms.

Seriously...the Ukrainians haven't won 1 battle. They've lost the Lugansk and Donetsk. Any offensive they tried failed and the latest attempt at Kherson failed. The Ukrainians lost their airforce, artillery and all their logistical support and communications in the first weeks of the war. The Russians control the sky. If the Ukrainians were that great , would they need our aid ...incomplete at that? Do you think a strategic war can be won with a few weapons of a tactical quantity??? The Russians have retaken the land given by Kruschev to western Ukraine in the 70s. The Donbass is also 80 % of Ukrain's Industrial base . How long can a modern, combined arms war be fought without its Industrial base ? You are taken in by US and Ukrainian propaganda that focus on successes at the tactical level while they lose the strategic war. E.g. 16 HIMARS are not going to change the strategic direction of the war . The same trap that Hitlers generals fell into. If the Russians suck the US would have enforced a no-fly zone and put boots on the ground AS WE HAVE EVERYWHERE in every conflict ...EXCEPT....when the Russians challenged us ..like in Syria. The US is hiding behind Ukrainian soldiers. That should clue you in to how strong we are !.. you are too blind to understand this.
