It was played in Marshall County, Ky. If you do ever get the chance to make it to this amazing tournament, you will understand why the crowd is underwhelming. Its an amazing gym, full of history and one of the finest high school basketball venues built in its time. It takes place in what most people would consider the middle of nowhere, even with Murray States campus within a 20 min drive, its a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive from the Sweet 16 Championships that took place in Lexington Ky on the Sunday leading up to the All-Star Game on Tuesday! The Sweet 16 draws much of the basketball junkies, and not many are willing to travel the distance to the venue. There are many factors that play into it, however, its the best environment for these kids to go out and be themselves. Small Town USA.
