Going with MLK. SWD did indeed play more original material, however MLK wasn’t all college material. They only played two cadences from other colleges and it was only BCC. I feel they were more prepared and executed better, also very entertaining. SWD was definitely chopping and it was very close. It wasn’t a landslide. Very good line in SWD. MLK also never played any old material. Very updated book. Great job to both. Very good battle and good look for Dekalb.

Im not sure what yall talking about MLK won. My observation after a 2nd listen to the battle 1).SWD played original material 2). It was ALL new material except the 1st cadence 3). SWD had 8 snares. MLK had 4. Im not sure why 8 snares was cleaner than 4 4). SWD material was way harder even though MLK played the college material. It was watered down tremendously. 5). I wouldnt give neither the win, it was a tie, BUT if we're going off what was played and who played it cleaner....SWD would get the W.

Everything y’all played was extra fast and y’all didn’t execute well. It sounded good but was played with no energy and was dirty to be honest. MLK was majority clean bro… and the snare parts on our end were not watered down at all.. we just executed better bro.. 🤷🏾‍♂️
