hello ! when you mention a 1000g butterblock it's for 3500g of dough correct ? not the quantity needed for the entire mix ? (which would be a bit low) thanks

Is this similar to the ocean roll from Sparrow Bakery in Bend Oregon. I’ve been missing those rolls ever since I visited for a wedding 😢

My husband and I just moved from Bend to Southern California, and we're also missing the Ocean Rolls! Are these pretty close? Have you tried the recipe? Bonus tip: Mc Menamins in Bend used to make French Toast with these cardamon rolls. They were the best. :)
