It’s not only his dribbles that are impressive. What makes Lamine special is his decision making. His decision making and passing, for a 16 year old is almost always perfect. None the less his ballcontrol and shot power is amazing. I can see him win the ballon dor in the future if he continue to grow like this. There is a reason why they call him the biggest talent that Barca has produced in modern football. And la masia has great talent coming up. Barcalona B is full of talents. We have already seen some of them “Marc Guiu, Casado, Cubarsi, Lamine en victor ford…” Lamine e has a bright future coming, Barca should protect him at all cost. He is going to be very important. In the future. So my wish is not to overplay him to much. But we can’t help it to get excited every time he is lined up. He really is that good

@@beechproduction220 as a Barca fan for many years I have known that the youngsters from Barcelona B going to the first team are monsters. Look at Gavi, balde, araujo, Cubarsi they are all players that graduated from la masia. So I already knew he was great from watching Barca B play. But he exceeded all my expectations in the first team didn’t know he would adapt and grow so fast in the first team. I admit he is currently our best player together with Frenkie in the squad. He might prove himself to be crucial for the team.

He is actually a more fluid dribbler than Dembele was. Dembele was quick, electric and had a deadly change of pace and direction but Lamine has the ball glued to his foot and looks like he reads the way through defenders better. His final pass is clinical and if he improves on his finishing he will be a deadly player. looking forward to the future of his

The difference between these two, and a big issue of Dembele, is that he is only using his speed mostly for dribbling, which puts a lot of pressure on muscles and knees (thus the injuries), but Yamal is putting a big emphasis on movements and the "fake shoulder" move, which leave the opponents to go in another direction. With this I truly hope we will see him injury free.

Start working on first touch and ball control drills. Use skills that give you separation from opponent while still being able to shield the ball with your body. Shifting your body weight from one leg to the other while gaining separation is another method you should consider using out on the pitch. In my opinion there are two paths to mastering the art of dribbling. Executing complex skill moves to get around players(like a Neymar) or relying on precise touches, reaction speed and excellent ball control(like Messi).
