Lamley: I opened the ENTIRE Hot Wheels Daniel Arsham Set with all four Porsches

The set is complete! Hot Wheels released the final 2 models from the Daniel Arsham Eroded set and it's time to open and add them to the Rally Case. Between the stellar packaging and presentation, this is truly one of my favorite projects Hot Wheels has done.

The center hole slot in the original case was for the collector buttons that used to come with the original redline Hot Wheels. There is a case variation that has that mag wheel insert in plastic on the cover. Don't see them very often. Usually see the mag wheel sticker or lace wheel sticker cover versions. Inside cover had a sticker showing the original 16 Hot Wheels models.

Baffling that this set doesn't include a DeLorean given that he had a full size one as one of his instalations.

I have everything except for the Porsche 930A, I also had issues with the Mattel website. I was really disappointed that I missed it. Hopefully will be able to aquire one at a decent price. It definitely is really a nice set that I am happy to add to my collection. Enjoyed your video and glad someone else appreciated it as much as I did.

Jason (The Mustang Hunter) got the Eroded Mustang recently, calling it one of his new grail pieces in his collection He also shows in his video that there is a life sized Eroded Mustang in a museum somewhere with crystals in the body and the seats of the Eroded Mustang

I also bought two of everything and also had to head to eBay to buy the Arsham studios Porsche. I am not a hot wheels collector. But I collect art with Arsham being one of my favourite artists. His stuff appreciates in value well also so is a fantastic long term investment. Daniel Arsham is colour blind hence the colours he uses for most of his work. Enjoyed the video

A very acquired taste, this Arsham set. The "Eroded" cars don't excite me that much, the Porsche 356 Bonsai and 930A are much more to my liking. I agree that the Eroded Porsche Safari needs to be converted into a premium version with full tampos and details. Other than that, it's too bizzare for its own good imo and i wouldn't pay the asking price just to have it. Thanks for the showcase.

FANTASTIC set. I would have bought the first Porsche if I could have but I didn’t want the case. Wasn’t willing to spend the price on the other cars, but definitely a beautiful set.

I bought 2 of the 930A on sale date and one of the Bonsai Speedsters after they sat in the shop for a long time. I appreciate the artistry of the eroded cars, but none of them resonate with me. I thought about each one, but couldn’t pull the trigger. The 930A is one of my favorite Hot Wheels Porsches that I own, and is the centerpiece of my home display. It’s really beautiful.

This set is missing either one or two cars IMO. '67 Camaro off road and a JDM. Gtr or Supra. Other than that I like the cases the cars actually come in cool for displaying.

I know they've art cars:some cars (like the classic Twin Mill and the Mustang ) are somewhat interesting, but each car is too expensive for me (IIRC, were they $80 apiece?) For the same amount of money I could get maybe 5 Team Transports or over 2 complete sets of Boulevard or premiums

I personally don't see the appeal of eroded Hot Wheels castings. I mean it's different ,and I can see the artistic value, but I don't find them attractive in the least. I get it though. This must be what I sound like when I talk about Hot Wheels Art Cars, or Hot Wheels "Fantasy" castings, which I love, and many people hate. I enjoy your enthusiasm for the series and stayed for the presentation which was fantastic, but you didn't make the sale. Not even that Eroded Rodger Dodger, nor Twin Mill got me on board, and those two are in my top 10 castings of all time. I have to admit The Porshe 930A was gorgeous. However that being said. I would be interested to know the mythology behind this style of art . What inspired him, why do they look this way, etc. The price isn't important, because as a collector I have paid a pretty penny for castings myself. If you like it, you buy it and that's what collecting is all about.

To me, these are just weird - a really undesirable set. If that 930 had proper decals, it might be decent, but HW seem intent on persisting with that dot matrix thing that everyone complains about. Not a patch on other brands that don’t command such ridix prices. Resist the hype! ✊🏼

I 🩷🩵🩷 these Releases , I been trying to figure out how I'm going to display which slots each will go • one is only display'N the Deutsche PORSCHE cars putting both sides facing out . •• also I'm going to Light up the Display Case with soft pink Lights and baby blue lights alternating in sequence or have them Alternate from Pink Blue Pink Blue of rotating the colour light up then with a BLACK LIGHT for dim light time of day ( these lighting technics Was shown by others on The HW Forums boards ) thankx TO everybody for showing is how what they did to DISPLAY light up thier ARSHAM Case(s) ~ col'pop ~ coldpopcarl ~ coldpopcarlsvws
