Lamley Preview: Hot Wheels Car Culture Hyper Haulers!

Hot Wheels has dropped the Car Culture Hyper Haulers, the 3rd truck mix they've done in Car Culture. It also marks the first non-licensed model in Car Culture. Cool with that? I give my thoughts in the video.

I was initially disappointed with the Baja Bouncer, but unlicensed Baja Trophy trucks are not unrealistic. So I just see it as a custom built race truck with no manufacturer sponsorship. It's a tubular frame with a composite body anyway.

I like the Baja Bouncer but it doesn't belong in Car culture, would've been better suited for Boulevard, the Bouncer in this set should've been the Toyota Off Road Truck.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator and the Ford Bronco R are my favorites from this set. And i kinda like the Baja Bouncer because it reminds me of the Toyota Off Road Truck, but they should put it in a Boulevard mix where they put fantasy castings as well (like the Twin Mill for example). Nice comparison with the older "Truck" sets. My personal Truck top 5 in general would be: 5- '83 Chevy Silverado. 4- Custom '62 Chevy. 3- Jeep Gladiator. 2- Subaru Brat. 1- Ford Bronco R. Great video. I totally agree with you on the "What wins the Number" winners. I am also kinda disappointed about a non-licensed model on Car Culture because I´m buying full sets and I only collect licensed models.

I haven’t seen new car culture since February! So this is definitely a preview hahaha. Great idea comparing them with the previous sets, the “who wins the number” was definitely fun. I would rate them as: 62 Chevy, VW, Squarebody, Bronco, Econoline. As for the Baja Bouncer. I don’t mind that it’s unlicensed, as a lot of those Trophy Trucks irl seem to have bodies that aren’t representative of any real truck. Although it would have been nice to see it licensed, I guess this option leaves them open for lots of different deco options.

One thing I definitely like on the Subaru BRATs: they don't have low-profile tires. I always like seeing some blackwall on Real Riders and the BRATs plus the Ford F-250 are really the only ones that have blackwall without being the giant-sized offroad tires like on the Jeep. I also really like the '72 Ranchero casting and it's one that has the headlights and chassis as part of a ZAMAC base so it wasn't a big deal to me that it didn't get full deco. I'd like the Econoline better if it had a proper stance since I'm not much of a fan of lowriders.

Great video as are all your showcase videos keep it up lamley and gotta say the only favorite of this set was the ford f-150 lighting if they bring out another car culture tuck series i would hope to see some older 50's & 60's ford, dodge, or chevy trucks just a thought

Lamley, I think you entirely missed the boat .. the Baja Bouncer is a very obvious "throwback" to the 1998 First (and only) Edition Bad Mudder. That should be the comparison piece. As far as trucks...your comparisons need work. There were better choices.

Found all of these this past weekend at Wally World! Along with Fast & Furious “Fast Superstars” (including the Supra!). Though I’m sure Hot Wheels Mainline case “P” is still in L.A. harbor waiting to be unloaded.

Baja Bouncer represents all the rally trucks it is almost true form to all makes (motors) of trucks. I get it and love it my favorite.

I haven't seen a new Car Culture or F&F premium set in months. There's been a dry spell of diecast in my area for a few months. I've got a good amount of new mainlines, and some Auto World. Though, 2020 release 5 is hitting stores again. Would have much preferred 2021 release 3 honestly.

in my area, there hasnt been mainlines for months and premiums are so dead. Most likely there are issues at the ports and distribution and stock is laughablely low lol

oh my that Bronco...wow. I typically hate all things SUVs and trucks...but...not this one. pretty sure there have been a few unlicensed castings in Car Culture (well, Boulevard anyway, if you consider Boulevard part of the Car Culture 'Premium' line). I tend to not care to collect any unlicensed casting. This one is nice and could be an exception.

Great set. All four trucks are amazing. It is a four car set as the generic model doesnt count. They have so many cool existing castings - and so many cool models they could have done. So why waste a car culture slot - and new casting resources - on a generic? The generic is okay for being a generic (on par with a MBX generic) but still... Still disappointed the first CC sets didnt have full detail. What is a point of metal bases and rubber tires when you don't even have headlights?

that might be the reason since most trophy truck championships dont have a definite manufacturer backing them (unless it is parts like engine) and putting the name like "trophy truck" wouldnt make sense for the casting so they did it right by making their own.
