This is extraordinary..."A beehive-shaped honey and lavender bread with a sweet vanilla forest berry and cherry jam." I don't think I have ever heard of or seen anything more magnificent, truly! I think there some other Elder Scrolls cooking videos I have not yet seen, I must watch them because this is what drew me to this channel in the first place!

Thank you 💚 and I am glad you enjoy my twisted sense of funny 😄 I am sure it will - would love to see what you make off it! If I'd do it again, I would probably in addition to greasing the bowl, sprinkle it with oats or breadcrumbs to make the dough stick to it better while arranging - just as an additional pointer ☺️

No matter what religion you believe in, when you watch a video as magical as this you can’t help but feel like there’s more to it than just evolution. Yes, I wholeheartedly believe in evolution as a scientist. But as a person I feel such a strong connection to the earth that I can’t explain with data.

Beautiful video! 💚 It's so nice that you picked all the berries yourself and using lavender is a lovely idea! I love the taste of it in bread 😊 You inspired me to bake a Lammas bread myself. Never heard of this festival btw 😮so interesting, I love pagan traditions😍

I love to go berry picking! Curious to hear how your bread turns out ☺️ it is one of the three harvest festivals - I guess here the most well-known one is Erntedank in autumn 🌾
@theartofnaturegermany4 жыл бұрын

I most definitely will make more videos about the pagan festivals ☺️ I have one up about Beltane and one for Litha already. The other two harvest festivals are Mabon and Samhain 🌾🌼 If you look up the Wiccan wheel of year you find more info about all the festivities 🍄🌽🥦 would love to see your result!

Hello Bex! What a pleasure as usual to watch your video! I love the unusual shape of the bread, and the flavours you chose are on point, they really go well together! :) I think with all the delicious bread recipes I tried these days I am going to open a bakery! I wish I could go to the countryside and pick some wild berries... But hey, I still have the farmer market and delicious strawberries to pick! I am really looking forwards to your next video! And by the way, congratulations on your 1000's followers!

Thank you! I was just in the middle of commenting on your new video (what an amazing recipe btw!) when I got interrupted by the baby waking up. But thank you so much for your kind words :) Farmersmarket sounds sooo lovely! Even though I live in the middle of the countryside, I have to drive 30 minutes to get to the next farmersmarket xD

Hello soul sis! Still catching up! I also don’t intentionally celebrate the common witch holidays as my practice is ... different 🤪 but I also enjoy sharing in the energy of these holidays with my online witch family (just like celebrating Christmas with my family who follow that path! 😃🙏🏽) so I am also tempted to do a little baking. If only the heatwave (2months and going strong) would ease up lol. I have a pumpkin seed and sunflower seed loaf I want to make for my Autumn Equinox feast but so want to try this bread!! I still have leftover honey from the Summer Solstice! Might have to find a substitute for the lavender (just not a fan) maybe rosemary and thyme? Ilove your sense of humour! My things may not bounce back, but they seem to have doubled in size 😆 perhaps i used too much yeast? Heehee. Ahhh sneaky sneaky! So that’s how you form the hive!! Wise witch!
@Thewitchescookery4 жыл бұрын
Haha I feel you there! To be honest, I will celebrate anything and everything that gives me an excuse to cook up a storm and do some decorations around the house 😂 I really hope the heat eases up and comes our way instead (this summer has been really rainy and cold so far)! I imagine the breaf would taste really nice with both rosemary or thyme! Maybe even better than lavender (it does sometimes taste a bit like swallowing bath water by accident). That yeast comment made me giggle a lot 😂 I will use this excuse from now on!

Question: where can one find things like lavendar and Chamomile to utilize in recipes? I absolutely plan on growing my own.. but I would like to make some stuff now. Can it be ordered. I'm commenting before I even watch the video. Sooooo... if you discuss this in the video just disregard my question 🤣
@Thewitchescookery3 жыл бұрын
I don't think I mentioned it in the video hehe you can usually get them at health food stores (try the tea section), any spice market - if there are any in your area, online through Amazon for example (just make sure you order food grade stuff, especially with lavender!) and here we can also buy it at the pharmacy but I don't know if that is a thing outside Germany ☺️

What can you substitute for the lavender? I’m allergic, but I want to make this!

You could either just leave it out completely or substitute with thyme or rosemary :) both would also pair well with the taste
