"Totally Agree" (in terms of male singers/Dianne Reeves would be my female singer) - Saw Ernie with the Gerald Wilson Orchestra 30+ years ago - Great Concert! - "KEEP ENJOYING THE SOUNDS OF JAZZ"

@@unifb2007 Well now Joe Williams and Ella Fitzgerald gotta get on your list as well. Their version of Every Day I Have the Blues from Metronome All Stars 1956? is my go to signature song.

YOU ARE SO CORRECT! this song and Low Down Blues medley are unbelievable - you have Ernie singing and the backup group of Jazz Legends - what more could you want - I had the pleasure of seeing Ernie with the Gerald Wilson Orchestra an eternity ago in So Cal - that too was unbelievable - "KEEP ENJOYING THE SOUNDS OF JAZZ"

You just purchased one of my top ten favorite jazz albums (CDs) of all-time - a long time jazz fan (Coltrane is my musical hero), Gene Harris and the Three Sounds were the first jazz group I ever saw in person in 1960 (sneaking into a Club in L.A. as a 19 year old) - also was fortunate to see Ernie and the Gerald Wilson Orchestra years ago - next to Coltrane, Stanley Turrentine is my second favorite tenor player (fortunate to see him in the early 90's) - no one can play a jazz/blues line, like the one on this song, like he could - Great CD - "KEEP ENJOYING THE SOUNDS OF JAZZ"

@@unifb2007 ABSOLUTELY! And Ernie Andrews has the same power of true blues feeling as Turrentine himself!! To me he's "THE WORLD'S GREATEST LIVING SINGER" (not just blues - but ballads with a deep, powerful, feeling, as well!).
