Very nice approach for knit & stretch pattern making. A small tip: to draw a straight line, you only need two points -- no matter how far they are apart. Looking forward to your next videos.

Thank you for sharing with us. Love your tutorial I've been trying to find ways to improve my drafting. I gave this dartless bodice a try and i am happy about it. I need your help im stuck at waist i need to make this final step to draw the arm hole. I add the Fwl is 10.6 and bwl is 12=22.6 Ive devided it by 2 and add 1inch =11.3 I place to the measurement on the waist going upward to the bust line, my measurement goes all the way to the shoulder. I just need you to help me identify my mistake.

This is a great video but I see you used a cotton fabric (I assume woven?) The title of the video says it is a knit top foundation. I am confused as i never saw knit blocks adding ease. More often they subtract it. I was looking for a knit/stretch fabric block foundation, would this work for that? Should I change anything if I am using a moderate-stretch knit fabric?

The fabric that I used was one stretch that’s why I used ease but only 2/8 of an inch. If you’re going to use this block on a cotton jersey use 4/8 of an inch from the block itself.

Hi i am drafting for my 13 year old daugther. I am drafting a shirt for school. I have a problem at the neck. Front waist length is 11 Back waist length is 13 Neck cir = 11.2 ( Half of Front neck height %3)=1.8 (Front neck width %3+3/8)=2.1 My neck height calculation when i devide by three ends up below the back waist. And i am not getting the bull shape to draft the neck. That 1.8 that i end up with is the problem. Please help.

Add ease? What ease, isn't it supposed to be a knit block which requires negative ease?

Dartless bodice is different from knit bodice. Dartless is for loose woven fabrics.
