This is the most unique and greatest drama......there were no scenes of their kissing and hugging......they not even mentioned directly that they are so deeply in love with each other, they never said it.............. Wuxian fell for Wanji at first...but no, not only him at the same time Wanji also fell in love with him but he never showed. But after 16 years, he showed his true feelings to Wuxian, his love was so strong that he never let someone hurt Wuxian............the love language is so pure in this drama.

"Losing your religion" is a southern colloquialism for Losing "one's temperament or civility or becoming desperate."And according to Micheal Stipe, of the band REM who originally sang and wrote the song said that the song is about "Unrequited love, someone pining for someone else." And damn if that does not fit Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian I don't know what does.
