The theory about the meaning of the music video (ignore bad english): Okay so I was reading some stuff on the internet and some web-site says that this video was actually inspired about People's Temple cult. The leader of the cult was Jim Jones (in the video played by Father John Misty). The cult best known for the mass murder-suicide in November 1978 of 918 cult members. The first time I saw this video, I was in the middle of a mushroom trip. When the second half started playing with the piano leading, my mind was instantly locked and I realized my body actually froze. As the music continued, I realized my emotions were so hard to captivate at the moment. My mouth was wide open like I had just witnessed a tragedy, and my eyes were full of tears, but in reality my heart was so full of joy but I physically couldn’t express it. When the video finally ended on that last piano chord, my heart was SO full of love and harmony. It made for the best psychedelic trip of my entire life. I can’t stop coming to this masterpiece. A true beauty.
