As she has attained fame & fortune, a lot of her monologue has come true, i think she has known what she was getting into at a young age and chose to roll the dice instead of playing it safe. I think she would benefit from having someone in her life that she could trust enough to hold her hand and the compass steady to point in the right direction.

I remember when I heard that monologue.... I swear as pretentious as it sounds, my life changed. It was an epiphany! I e been hooked since then, often finding solace in Lana's words

I felt she must be the best "fiction" writer, or she went thru some thing similar, because she nailed it! Lanas music got me thru the worst part to the best part of my life.... I lost everything in 2011 when my producer/boyfriend that I lived with, cheated on me for a year & then took off. I lost everything, my car broke, my computer broke, my publishing deal ended, I had to rely on the "kindness of strangers" It was devastating. I was able to recover & fast forward to 2017, I reconnected with my first love, & had the honeymoon I always dreamed of, listening to her "Honeymoon" album! Lanas music saved my life quite literally. 💝💝💝💝

That's not a monologue. That's a poem by T S Eliot that connected to her own work. She didn't write that
