Her tears weren’t ones of pain, but at the same time there was just such an overwhelming feeling that had taking place inside of her that it needed release. It was everything that had taking place not only the last few days, but everything they had been through together, and what he didn’t know what had been said to her. That she was part of the reason that Kal-El became the hero that they looked up too in the future. They were wrong, she wasn’t part of the reason, she was the reason. If she left him now, just because she couldn’t touch him, how heroic was that? That being a hero wasn’t about physical touch, but about touching lives in this deeper way. What good was it saving someone’s life physically, if emotionally they had no reason to live, no hope, nothing to believe in anymore.
