Lan Del Rey - Blue Jeans (Lyrics)
Blue jeans, white shirt
Walked into the room, you know you made my eyes burn
It was like James Dean for sure
You're so fresh to death and sick as ca-cancer
You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop
But you fit me better than my favorite sweater
And I know that love is mean (Oh-oh) and love hurts (Oh-oh)
But I still remember that day we met in December, oh, baby
I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh-I will love you till the end of time
Big dreams, gangsta
Said you had to leave to start your life over
I was like, "No, please-stay here
We don't need no money, we could make it all work"
But he headed out on Sunday, said he'd come home Monday
I stayed up waiting, anticipating, and pacing
But he was chasing (Oh-oh) paper (Oh-oh)
Caught up in the game, that was the last I heard
I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh-I will love you till the end of time
You went out every night, and baby, that's alright
I told you that no matter what you did, I'd be by your side
'Cause I'ma ride or die, whether you fail or fly
Well, shit, at least you tried
But when you walked out that door, a piece of me died
Told you I wanted more; that's not what I had in mind
I just want it like before, we were dancing all night
Then they took you away, stole you out of my life
You just need to remember
I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh-I will love you till the end of time

"Ahead" no. The other way around : This song is very traditional music but added to it is a beat that fits a younger audience. But doing that is not easy in a way to make it into high quality, where this is the exception (very high talent of musical artistry). I guess she didn't do it alone but in any case amazing piece of work. I was quite baffled to hear this coming out of America when it was released, a country that I normally think of as having left the world of music sometime in the late 90s.

The song Video Games sung by Elizabeth aka Lana Del Rey is about a guy who's life is like a scripted video game in real life. Elizabeth and I were married in secrect in 2003 and the marriage was annulled under the orders of my biological Father. Lana's Father is a servant of my biological Father. I am the highest ranked Offspring of the Satanic Cabal and as a measure of resistance years later I posted on chatboards as the original person called Q. Previously I posted on chatboards to bring about the awareness of Pizzagate. Here is secret information. President Joe Biden is planned to die a few days after the signing of the TAX BILL and then the Sinister Elect is to take over. Blue Jeans is about the same guy. Blessed be the Holy Messiah my new MERCIFUL MASTER Amen

Her lorde and Alex turner. I think all three of them have a type of uniqueness that nobody else had or will probably ever have. Lorde and especially Lana are overlooked because most people don’t understand or even bother to try to understand their lyrics and songs, and people don’t pay attention to Alex’s lyrics because he’s part of an all men rock band and his lyrics aren’t what you’d expect from that. Also their popular songs ones like do I wanna know are ones with with pretty ordinary lyrics and people don’t take the time to listen to songs like love is a laserquest, it’s hard to get around the wind or four out of five. I really do hope the next generations will give these people the recognition they deserve, because it’s clear this generation isn’t

LYRICS: Blue jeans, white shirt Walked into the room you know you made my eyes burn It was like, James Dean, for sure You're so fresh to death and sick as c-cancer You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop But you fit me better than my favorite sweater and I know That love is mean, and love hurts But I still remember that day we met in December, oh baby! I will love you till the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? Love you more than those bitches before Say you'll remember, oh baby Say you'll remember, oh baby, ooh I will love you till the end of time Big dreams, gangsta Said you had to leave to start your life over I was like, "No please, stay here We don't need no money, we can make it all work" But he headed out on Sunday, said he'd come home Monday I stayed up waitin', anticipatin' and pacin' But he was chasing paper "Caught up in the game, " that was the last I heard I will love you till the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? Love you more than those bitches before Say you'll remember, oh baby Say you'll remember, oh baby, ooh I will love you till the end of time You went out every night And, baby, that's alright I told you that no matter what you did I'd be by your side 'Cause I'mma ride or die Whether you fail or fly Well, shit, at least you tried But when you walked out that door A piece of me died I told you I wanted more But that's not what I had in mind I just want it like before We were dancin' all night Then they took you away, stole you out of my life You just need to remember... I will love you till the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? Love you more than those bitches before Say you'll remember, oh baby Say you'll remember, oh baby, ooh I will love you till the end of time

She's got this dreamy, nostalgic sound that's not everyone's cup of tea, but for those who connect with it, her music is like a whole mood, you know? It's like she creates this cinematic experience with her songs that can really take you to another place. What is it about Lana Del Rey's music that you find underrated and special?

Just the way speaks about her man, it’s the kind of love I’ve searched from a woman. I’ve been in love with her for decades, maybe it’s why I’m still alone. The way she describes love is something out of a fairy tale and I’m a man who is lost looking for my ride or die.

Blue Jeans Lana del Rey Blue jeans White shirt Walked into the room You know you made my eyes burn It was like James Dean For sure You're so fresh to death and sick as c-cancer You were sorta Punk Rock I grew up on Hip Hop But you fit me better Than my favorite sweater and I know That love is mean (uh oh) And love hurts (uh oh) But I still remember that day we met in December, oh baby I will love you 'til the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? Love you more Than those bitches before Say you'll remember (oh baby) Say you'll remember, oh baby, ooh I will love you 'til the end of time Big dreams Gangster Said you had to leave to start your life over I was like, "No please, stay here" We don't need no money We can make it all work But he headed out on Sunday Said he'd come home Monday I stayed up waitin', anticipatin' and pacin' But he was Chasin' (uh oh) Paper (uh oh) Caught up in the game It was the last I heard I will love you 'til the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? Love you more Than those bitches before Say you'll remember (oh baby) Say you'll remember, oh baby, ooh I will love you 'til the end of time You went out every night And, baby, that's alright I told you that no matter what you did I'd be by your side 'Cause I'ma ride or die Whether you fail or fly Well, shit, at least you tried But when you walked out that door A piece of me died Told you I wanted more That's not what I had in mind I just want it like before We were dancin' all night Then they took you away Stole you out of my life You just need to remember I will love you 'til the end of time I would wait a million years Promise you'll remember that you're mine Baby, can you see through the tears? This song is not a song. It's a whole genre. Even for Lana. It's completely different from everything I heard from her or someone else. I don't know. The mix of sensuality and sadness of its lento, the hypnotic calm and rythm, the crescendo, her soft voice. Simply different.

I've heard this repeatedly, but just because she doesn't fit in today's music... well, probably 90s woulda had her. She's better than any of 'em. It's too depressed, too honest for 1960s -- yknow that Van Morrison's "making love in the green grass" lyric got censored in what, 1967? You look at this video and realize she's dead at the end, she's that pathetic of a lover -- not to mean that term insultingly or anything. He killed her by neglect and she just took it. it's just beyond anything 1960s in my mind, but I'd love to be challenged. I know a lot of it and I circle through it... Kinks? who did as complex of songs? I really think it's no one. Er, wait, in this song, he doesn't kill her by neglect, her kills her by straight-up abuse... I guess I'm thinking of her other great of the era, "Video Games"... Derp. Seems to be a theme.
