@@koniec7638 Well in my opinion, I can see why some people don't like COTCC, it's an experimental album and sounds "distant" from her other albums. But, I love Blue Banisters so much, because now Lana has different vocals tecniques, wich I personally think is better than the tone she used in some songs during UV and BTD to express that lolita side, and also she opens up about traumas from the past, fame, the hate she's receiving, her family, thoughts about life and even about her relashionship with her sister. At first I hated the piano in the songs, but then I remembered, it's her father playing on some of them (Sweet Carolina, for example) and it must mean a lot to Lana after all the problems she had seeking a father figure...

Lyrics: Please don't try to find me through my dealer He won't pick up his phone Please don't try my father either He ain't been home for years I know I'm no spirit seeker I can't sleep through the tears I get lost in the ether I check it, I wreck it, I turn it around I gave you all my money, gave you all my money Gave you all my money, gave you all my money I don't wanna live I don't wanna give you nothing 'Cause you never give me nothing back Why can't you be good for something? Not one shirt off your back Why can't you be good for something? Not one shirt off your back Please don't try to find me through my dealer He won't pick up his phone Please don't try my doctor either He won't take any calls He's no fucking spirit healer He just can't stop to talk But he's gone now for the weekend I check it, I wreck it, and I'll explain I gave you all my money, gave you all my money Gave you all my money, gave you all my money I don't wanna live I don't wanna give you nothing 'Cause you never give me nothing back Why can't you be good for something? Not one shirt off your back Why can't you be good for something? Not one shirt off your back 555 Please don't try to find me through my dealer 9275, 555 Now you've got a busy tone He won't pick up his phone All circuits are busy, goodbye All circuits are busy, you're high Please don't try my father either All circuits are busy, goodbye All circuits are busy, you're high He ain't been home for years

I cried, when I heard this song, especially when Lana is screaming...Wanna scream with her! This album so sad, reminds a little the era of Ultraviolence. Although in Ultraviolence was more of a suicidal effect, here it is more, everything is very depressing, but there is some kind of Happy ending. I love you Lana! Keep making the same great albums that you have! Take care! Be healthy! Lots of love!💕💕💕😘😘😘

Every time I hear this song, it takes me back to those quiet, cold winter nights where you're out walking beneath the soft glow of streetlights, with snow gently falling around you. This made me realise that the stylings of Lana, Aurora, Hozier, Moses Sumney, Weyes Blood, Fka Twigs, Lorde, Billie Eilish, and many more modern artists are dreamy moody ballads with a deeper purpose. Their songs sound like lullabies for mature children. There’s an emotional neglect from english society in it’s efforts to be pristine leaving millions of touch-starved unpraised hopeless people pleasers whose expectations were built up in their early years only to have them crushed. These songs help remind us that there’s still a disappointed yet hopeful child inside. They comfort despair and soothe the void saying: “We’re not alone and we can support each other.”
