Home-Made Rose Bracelets: Can We DIY The Trend? 1094

Materials I used : Soft copper wire :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) :
15cm ( 6 inch) for each large rose link
5cm ( 2 inch) for each small rose
10cm ( 4 inch) for the clasp
The parameters I give are for reference only. The size and length of the wire used can be flexibly changed depending on the size of the bracelet or wire you have.

I am wanting to make earrings with the links. At both ends I am shaping the links into leaf shapes, one end to hang from an ear wire and the other end to hang a wrapped dropped bead (red for Valentine’s Day). ❤

What a great idea! Maybe a matching necklace with little leaf dangles in the center? I bet this would make a really pretty lariat necklace clasp too, with the leaf feeding through the rose link.

Utterly amazing, these rose links would work amazing as accents on a longer chain. I bet you could do variations like clover or "Celtic knot" style with a little adjustment to the pattern or something, too. The technique is remarkably versatile.

So beautiful Lan! I’ve made six links so far but I’m using silver half hard wire and is difficult to get the twists right. Can you recommend a silver wire that is shiny and is easier to use, please?

I usually use soft copper wire. If your wire is too stiff, you can change to a smaller diameter wire. Wish you success and make more beautiful products

If you're using half hard wire, you could probably go down to a 22 gauge, which will make a daintier link, but should be easier. If you can find dead soft wire, that would also work better.

I usually do the size that fits me, so that might be quite small compared to most people. You can change it to fit your size the ring is 1.5cm in diameter. about size 5 bracelet has a diameter of 5.5cm

Nice idea. Music was too distracting with the piano notes nerve grating. Wish those of you who choose not to do a thorough tutorial by describing what steps u r doing verbally, would at least put effort into your music selection. And put written steps in the video. Could not finish watching.
