I know I am late to the game as it is months later but want to thank you Aniko for this thorough evaluation. I have similar criterias for mascaras so your opinion was very helpful. It helped me decide to buy a holiday set containing original and drama mascaras (for only $4 extra). I have been already using and loving the original, now I will also try drama and will probably use it on some occasions (although like you, I don't enjoy clumpiness, therefore will have to use my little comb to separate my lashes).

Hypnose drama is clumping your upper lashes because you are coating them from above as well and you definitely sholdnt!

Very helpfull Thank you! Currently using essence Princess mascara’s but have sensitive eyes and they transfer on top and under my eyelids and a little chunky. Have long lashes from using the Lanolash serum which is nice but they touch my brow bone lol. Setting the browbone again after using settingspray helps a little. Think i’m going for the original.

Which Princess mascara do you use? I love the green one! I used to use RapidLash but it worked too well just like from the sound of it it worked too well for you, too! Maybe try something waterproof, that should help to stop the transfer!

@@AnikoVargaMakeup the green/mint and the purple one. The green one is better in staying power but not much volume, i use first the green and than the purple. My lashes are’nt to long, i think the shape of my eyes is the issue but it looks very nice. When i use False lashes they are also very long and i need to cut them a bit. I would not want to go shorter in lashes but i do think a waterproof one is better yess. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Aniko. Nice video. I love 💘 lancolme mascaras. We don't have the porter one here. Best ones are definicile which is a lengthening natural mascara, monsieur big, a voluminzing mascara and drama. I love the drama one. If you get a fresh tube, it doesn't clump goes on smooth and one side of brush is to comb out the other to curl. Also its water resistant so comes off with warm water but otherwise stays on all day. A new container has thin formula you can add to increase volume. I suspect the minis that came with your set were on shelves a while and less fresh. Mr. Big goes on with one swipe. Thanks for reviews.

@@AnikoVargaMakeup only given for Monsieur big not other lancome mascaras and only at ulta or Sephora. Dept stores occasionally give 15 % few times a year. If you like natural look, definicile is highest rated here in U.S. by lancome. Any of them are my favorites as they don't irritate my eyes.

If you’re looking for length, I don’t think the Hypnose mascara will be the one for you. It’s a very natural looking mascara. I would go with the Lengthening one

well, they all look the same.. the result is the same, expect from the simple, natural lancome. I don't know... all mascaras seem to have the same results, when talking about the same price mascaras. I once bought "better than sex" mascara.. It was very thick and very heavy for my eye, although I was told that it was the best mascara ever. I still have it, it's waterproof, so I'm using it only when I want to give a volume when at sea.

I agree with you that at the end of the day there are a very few type of mascaras, the fluffy one, then cone shaped one and the sparse one that hardly does anything. It depends on your taste and on your lashes which one will suit you most but pretty much all mascaras have a cheaper alternative that will do exactly the same

Absolutely nothing, it’s same mascara, it looks like originally it was released as Doll Lashes and now it’s called Doll Eyes, I can’t really find a lot of information about it but it’s the same mascara 100% 🙂
