He Is the definition of slight of hand magic. You can't take your eyes off him. Copperfield is great. Lance is slight of hand perfection. Simply intoxicating. The best. He makes years of practice look effortless.

Now this is true magic. Best sleight of hand I’ve ever seen and all done with his sleeves rolled up. Salute!

I had the absolute honour, pleasure and privilege of being in the audience, watching him perform this routine in his show at the Monte Carlo, Las Vegas, around 2007. His show was the best magic show out of all the ones I’ve seen. This routine was perfectly as immaculate back then as you see in this clip.

Saw Lance a few times live in Vegas and he always started with this as it is what got him the Prize in Switzerland and the praise of Carson. It is BEAUTIFUL. True ELEGANCE. Just lovely..

I’ve been a fan of Lance Burton since I was a kid! I always wanted to go to Vegas to see his show but now I never will since he retired! He holds the same title that Kellar passed onto Thurston then Dante etc known as Magics Royal Dynasty!

This is pure perfection. May never be an act like this. It's sad he's retired and back living in Kentucky.... I have seen him many times and he's always this great. Nice guy, too.

I wondered if he had ever met Michael Jackson...still don't know...but here he is with Janet Jackson at least in terms of being at this event!

I find him interesting. A bit repetitive at times, just in my opinion. Though I can see the repetition is often a ploy in the flow of his performance. The way he looks and moves though reminds me of a mixture of the classic archetypes of magician, vampire, and aristocrat. Saw another performance where I found him quite creepy with his facial expressions. Clearly a brilliant magician though. The kind that makes my brain start giving me "does not compute" error messages. Especially that part where he turned in a circle and continuously summoned cards and dropped them from is apparently empty hand. Would really like to know how he did that. And all those pigeons. My best guess is there were assistants dressed in black hidden in the shadows, passing him things.

Unfortunately, thats not how he does it. No need for an assistant.
