Ooh great recommendation! I have the Cheirosa 71 and Idole Nectar so I will try this combo. That reminds me, the original blue Sol de Janiero cream used to have a strong popcorn note. I’m not sure if the new formula does. But maybe I will try the little sample I have with this perfume 😊

I have the Cherosa 71, and I love to wear it at home but feel like I can't walk around in public smelling like a cookie. I love the Cheriosa 71, and I've been smelling Nectar a few times now, and I think it will be my next purchase. My 5th fragrance this month🤭. Thanks for that layering tip. Just tried to layer Cheriosa 71 with Sol 62 edp, but they are both perfectly complete by them self. It just cant get yummier.

I just picked up the Lancôme Idole the other week when ulta had it on sale half off and it smells so good. Very pretty and feminine like you said. I may have to pick this one up now and mix it with my C’71 🤔 Thanks for the review Amy!

Great review, Amy! I was waiting on a sample of Idole Nectar that Lancôme was sending me but it never arrived so I finally blind bought it at Ulta. I get the same experience as you, a juicy modern rose with a subtle sweetness. I also layer to try to get the carmel note to pop; I use Truly Dulce de Leche cream before I spray, and I really like the combo. I likely won’t repurchase this because I was wanting it to be more flormand with the popcorn, but I’m happy to have it in my collection because I needed a rose scent and the bottle is gorgeous like you mentioned. For anyone looking for a prominent popcorn note, Soki London’s Empress is like a floral toffee patchouli popcorn bomb, a very interesting perfume, wouldn’t recommend a blind buy but I enjoy it.

Hi Amy, too funny.... I literally got Idole Nectar in the mail today! I was wearing it for the first time when I saw this review. Perfect timing! I LOVE Idole Aura.... I’ve been wearing it nonstop since I got it..... so I was super excited to try this new one. Yes.... wow.... a little goes a long way. I can see it’s going to be a great performer. So far all I really smell is roses. I’ve only had it on 45 minutes. Maybe once it settles down more I’ll detect other notes. I hope so, because I was so intrigued by the popcorn. It IS a feminine, beautiful scent either way, and I’m so glad I got it. P.S., your eyes look especially pretty today 👁👁

I have all Idole fragrances. I started with the Intense (my holy grail!!). Loved it so much, this pass spring/summer I literally emptied the 1.6 fl oz! With my collection, that’s saying a lot! I still have an unopened 3.4 OG (doesn’t stand) for next spring 😉 The same week/month, my husband bought Aura & Nectar for me. It’s the salt in Aura and that popcorn note!! (Quick 2.5) Miss Dior Cherie was my first perfume from my hubby when we got back together - that perfume has the BEST scent memories for us. When it got discontinued I was heartbroken. That’s why I love all fragrances with a popcorn note. It’s so unique! Anyways, I’m a heavy sprayer but this Idole line, there’s no need to - plus the longevity & sillage is what makes Lancome stand out from all others. I always get compliments when wearing any Idole. As always, you’re so beautiful Amy! I love your reviews, always look forward to it while I’m drinking my morning coffee. Now I need to go buy that SDJ ‘71 😊

I really wish I loved this fragrance as the popcorn note is beautiful but I just find the rose so strong and dated. We need more gourmands in the designer world. Everything is floral. Enjoyed as always 🥰

Amy! IMHO I really think you should pursue a career as a MUA! Maybe part time since you're already so busy with family and this amazing channel, and yes, I know you do makeup tutorials as well & they're fire🔥🔥. But maybe advertise for wedding/ special occasion makeup on social media in your area? Ya just dang gifted girl! LOL I love Idole Intense & Aura. I want Nectar next. I jusr received the travel size of Nectar and....I love it! My favorite is still Aura, but I wish I'd gotten the .8 oz Nectar. It's sweet and juicy and such a fresh rose. I also have original and Intense but they're a bit to much. I don't know what it is, something sharp?

I went to the Lancôme counter to try this and couldn’t smell the popcorn note, I thought it just smelled really sweet. I’m new to buying perfume and I tried and loved La vie est belle (I didn’t know it was so popular), it was what I thought Idole nectar would be.
