I also lived in Japan, so I understand what you are saying. It is true that Japanese people do not talk much to strangers, but I liked that about Japanese people. It seems that some people from overseas feel that Japanese people are cold in that way, but that is not true. They just have a perception that it is rude to enter other people's personal space. In fact, many Japanese people I knew were kind.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
I totally agree with you as I live in the UK. It sounds simillar to the UK weather and the culture, comparing to Japan. Thank you for the video.

Hi! I enjoyed your movie. I used to live in the US and felt some culture shocks like you when I got back to Japan. I have a friend in Poland 🇵🇱. I want to visit there sometime after everything settles down.
Thank you for sharing your reverse culture shocks! It’s good for us to know the cultural differences between Poland and Japan. By the way, in the northern part of Nagano prefecture(長野県), which has a lot of snow in winter, some trains have a button to open/close a door for customers. Thanks to the button, the hot air in the train is kept inside when the door doesn’t have to open/close at a station, and also to avoid snow running into the train.
