Land Based Fishing the CENTRAL COAST | NSW.

Over the past few days, I've been basing my sessions souly around fishing the tides, I've managed to catch a few Soapies with a number of flathead bycatch, I thought I would just throw a EP together with the little footage I have. I plan on fishing this system more frequently on the kayak! hope you guys Enjoy! stay tuned.

Reel- Daiwa Exist 2500 XH
Braid- Daiwa J-Braid 8lb
Leader- FC-Rock 8lb
plastics- 100mm Squidgies Fish, Silver Fox.

Great episode there. You were in the right spot for Mulloway . Go back there at night with some Tailor or squid strips on the rising tide just after dusk and you'll pick up a decent soapy as they will come through that area up to the end and back on the tide change. Tight lines 🎣

Did you consider the grub freak at all? If so why’d you go with the XFLC over it? In the market for a millerod myself

Honestly mate, I felt like I would end up buying the both of them eventually! so I just went with the XFLC being a tad bit heavier, but the grubfreak is high on the priority list. I plan on having an entire Quiver of millerods At this point anyways!

@@LostFishingAus haha my mind has gone the same path, it’s a little overwhelming what to get first though. I am just getting into soft plastics more seriously so wanted to pair the GrubFreak with my Sustain 2500. Wondering if the XFLC would be a better option given it’s a little more versatile

Good plastic brawler baits red ones the fat boy are good Wa company I like the 13 mm od chrome bearing fitted to hook another plastic is the crush city or if ya need a big plastic wing man lures are good swiss lures the wing man same again leader I use a wire 7 strand with speed clips length 350mm od of this wire is thin as a line drawn on a bit of paper 1.3mm but will hold a bull out to piss. Wi gman lures can be found at Wellington Point Brisbane tackle shop.
