Tools. I spent a lot of time making sure I had a complete array of tools in preparation for overlanding and off-roading adventures. Then I realized unless I brought spare parts with me, tools alone weren’t going to do me much good. Good call on the new battery, but I would also bring an emergency jump start accessory. And air compressor. And fire extinguishers. If you’ve been on a boat at sea you know. First trip will show you what you forgot, and for me, all the stuff I really did not need. And as big as an LC/LX looks from the outside, it fills up really fast.
