Today's day similar thinks happened in Europe. My friend a Baptist Christian was buried outside the cemetery. The priest in the majority Orthodocs Cristian community didn't allow her to be buried even their family had a personal crypt. She's buried in a middle of a field and when afterword's made a case in the press; the city put a chain-link fence around. she's still there. Today Romania.

Im irish. The Catholic Church has a similar attitude to anyone who broke their rules back in the day , you were buried in unconcrecated ground . Suicide would be seen as a rule break, sadly. Not anymore, thankfully .

Did you even watch it? If nothing has changed, they wouldn't have purchased him a headstone to put inside the fence, or given him a funeral service.
