It truly is Regine’s longevity that puts her at the top of the OPM pantheon. Still the queen to beat. We can only know 30 years from now, if any of these artists come close to 2023 Regine. I disagree on Lea and Lani’s placement - they shouldve been at least top 5. Katrina is the one to watch out for, she should learn to control the need to do stunts every 10 seconds - otherwise she has great stuff. I wish Mori, does the same for her squeaks. But i really respect her as an artist.

If I'm going to choose the top 2 of the most respected singers in the Philippines, it would be Ms. Lea Salonga and Ms. Regine Velasquez. I still remember when Ms. Lea said that Ms. Reg is a freak of nature. And Ms. Reg said that Ms. Lea is the only Filipino singer she knows that is perfect pitch. Morissette amon is on a different level from all the others, and I'm not just talking about the Philippines. for this reason it is more appreciated in the world, than in the Philippines. She sounds like...... morissette Amon, has her own unique and rare timbre of voice, thanks to her vocal range ranging from full and full-bodied mezzo soprano to lyrical soprano but never screaming, she has her own style, the others sound like a copy of queens velasquez. Most of the time they sound like Regine Velasquez, like bad copies. And then queens velasquez knows, that Morissette amon is a vocal monster. She said it herself in an interview. Morissette amon is already legend. 🤷

Great storytelling vocal control too! 2) JAYA -- So soulful and powerful voice 3) Lea Salonga - Her voice is soo femine like that of Regine.
