We were on our way back home from the Wartime in the Vale military vehicle show at Evesham and took the short cut over Birker Fell, which rises and falls about 800ft and ends up at the King George IV pub for a lovely pint of Guinness before the last couple of miles home. The Series 2a Marshall ambulance did very well despite being a bit wobbly on some of the corners.
It's a bit shaky in places as my wife was holding the camera in one hand and hanging on to the dashboard with the other while sliding about on the passenger seat - you can hear her making a comment about losing her teeth at one stage...
Yes, I could have used the low gear ratio on the steep uphill hairpins, but where's the fun in that?
