Hi guys, I believe the battery for the Defender is located under the drivers seat? Could you please confirm where you mounted the 'Chassis' & the 'Microphone' for the GME UHF CB in the Defender. Also, i believe you can get a bonnet mount for the antenna which may give you a better choice of antenna rather than one fixed glass mount antenna if you didn't want to mount it to a roof rack as i'm sure there would be other cables going thru the firewall to follow.

Hey Peter!, Thanks for your comment! We utilised a GME pass through to be able to unplug the hand piece when not in use. The main unit itself is mounted under the dash behind the glovebox!

Hey guys, nice setup! Quick question - are you able to use the auxiliary battery to jump start the main starter battery if it went flat deep in the bush? Thanks!

Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately you cant jump start off this particular battery. We recommend carrying a portable jump starter that fits in your glove box though! Much more convenient then jumper leads

Thanks for your comment! We have not got a drop in DIY kit for a Defender yet, only custom installations done in our workshop. We have the ability to use an array of products from our approved suppliers to create a dual battery set up depending on your requirements.
