i’m a member too, but i don’t get out on them nearly as much as i should. tbh i’m not really into the whole bomb-hole, super flexing, hardcore off roading, don’t want to knacker my car, but i do enjoy a nice gentle lane with a view!

@@2planks that Lane looked really picturesque. I agree, although I do enjoy the odd challenge, I don’t want to destroy my beloved D3. Always such a pleasure to drive and hard to give up, despite the costs going up and up

Great video...I'm up these parts with the caravan regularly so will try and check out these lanes..I looked on Google Street View to recognise the lanes you used,looks like they've been filmed by you!?? Disco with grip treads on the bonnet?

What size were these R/T+? I'm looking for new wheels for my Landy and yours looks great with these

they’re 265/65/18 - i’ve got 2” lift rods and 30mm spacers on too, but still get a bit of rubbing at full lock. i’d probably go with 265/60 next time for a better fit 👍

thanks mate, you’re lucky to live in such a lovely part of the world! it doesn’t quite go all the way round, but there are lanes either side heading away from the reservoir. it’s a great spot!

Hey folks Now I've got a rtt on the disco I'm dying to try more of this. How do you find these amazing places to go tho?? I've got loads of bits round me in the galloway forest but most are no vehicle access 😭😭

we find most of our places to go either through the os maps app or the green lane association’s trailwise app. members get free access to an app that shows you routes and reviews of all the lanes in england. unfortunately, it doesn’t seem scotland’s lanes show up on either app! you could try scotgrc.co.uk which looks to be a similar sort of idea to england’s green lane association. looks like they do regular meet ups around scottish green roads.
