I’m enjoying the restoration series. I have a1966 S2A 88” hard top, so it’s helpful seeing someone else’s tips and techniques. As mine is running, it is more of a rolling restoration. It is like eating an elephant; one bite at a time. I’m trying to put parts on as they come in, instead of just ordering a bunch of parts and having them pile up. My brother started with a really nice Corvette, then took it apart and started ordering parts. It hasn’t run in 4 years now.🤦🏼♂️

I have a series three and the drivers side door hangs a bit low Will probably get new hinges and a door mounting

yea series 3 have same hinges as defenders don't they? not sure if they have adjustment or not! cheap enough for replacemnts though!

yea, but only cos the check bar isn't connected, though being ex military there are rubber stops on wings so you can open it wide like this!

That paint effect is called "flashing" caused by condensation
