I have a 2001 4.0l one.. yes there are problems, yes there are way too many electronics, yes the airsuspension is great when it works but sooner or later it stops working and becomes a nightmare, but....it is the only car i have owned, out of 15 or so, where, every time, every time! I get in, it fills me with awe and a feeling of peace... I feel like the queen of England.. :) There is no feeling like it.. This car will grow on you and you will love it and forgive it ...I have truly enjoyed every km of the 100.000 I did in it so far...

I have this very same year make and model of RR, and it's NOT all that great. If there was no factory installed alarm/anti-theft system it would be an excellent vehicle imo. However, I still wouldn't rank it as the finest 4wd off-road vehicle in the world. It's not even among the top five.
