Ma'am for Min NDVI values is negative but in the PV formula you taken as positive value instead of (-0.172219)
@dawnofgeospatialworld3 ай бұрын
two negative signs makes one positive sign. (if we minus any negative value then, '- ' + '-' = +)
@АртурГолятин2 ай бұрын
@@dawnofgeospatialworld at 4:59 shouldnt it be like: ( ( NDVI - ( - 0.172219 ) / ( 0.619821 - ( -0.172219 ) ) ) thus ( ( NDVI + 0.172219 ) / ( 0.619821 + 0.172219 ) ) Doublechecking myself by this example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZa8eGSZZtWFiZo

@dawnofgeospatialworld6 ай бұрын
The process will be same. Just check the band numbers for Landsat 5. like Thermal band of L5 is B6. In the LST calculation formula, put 11.45 for w value (10.8*BT/14388)

@@rayjaybalderama3443 You can Check Chlorophyll Index instead of NDVI. But I don't think This method will that much effective for Water Temperature.
@dawnofgeospatialworld9 ай бұрын
@@rayjaybalderama3443 As you can see in this video, if you need inland water surface temperature, you can use LST method. There are some small waterbodies in that location & surface temperature was calculated. But if you want to calculate sea surface temperature, there will be different method to calculate that.
