Hi Ms. Chithra Anjali, Study areas are geographic boundaries used to define the extent of your analysis It can be administrative, watershed, shoreline, forest area or any thing defining boundary. It can be download from Onlinemaps survey of india, GSI or DIVA GIS. IF have softcopy of the study you can digitize in GIS.

Plz can you explain why you didn't do preprocessing such as atmospheric and radiometric correction before doing supervised classification.

Hi, I want to ask few question for the collect sample part for supervised classification. 1) Can we digitized the sample with any kind of shape for each class or we can just can randomly digitized. 2) How much sample are good to get a accurate data. Thank you.

Hi Good Day, I'd be happy to help with your questions on supervised classification in ArcGIS Pro: Digitizing Samples: You can digitize samples using various shapes, but the key is to ensure they accurately represent the land cover classes you're trying to classify. Using polygons can help capture the variability within each class, while points might be sufficient if you're dealing with well-defined, uniform classes. Sample Size: The number of samples needed for accurate classification depends on the variability of the land cover types and the overall complexity of the area. As a general rule, more samples usually lead to better results. For each class, aim for a minimum of 30-50 samples, but this can vary. It’s often beneficial to collect more samples to capture the diversity within each class. Thanks for your valuable questions

Hey, your video is great. But to me during Image classiifcation it is showing me "Error 000229; cannot open %s". Why it's that and can you give me any suggestions on how to rectify it.

I've been watching your videos which I really like but I've not seen where you teach how to download LULC data from USGS. If you have any, can you please give me the link?. Thanks
