Love watching all of your Videos. I'm located on the Gulf coast near Houston TX. I started land based shark fishing late last summer. I'm just about ready for the shark fishing season in a month or so. I'm really looking for gear tips and tricks! For example what harness do you use? I use a kayak but I am about to purchase a small inflatable to get baits out. Have you used one? Thanks bud!

Blackmagic harness is our favourite, also inflatables are great but i stick to kayak as its more simple (dont need fuel oil or matinance) and kids get to play in kayak wen im not using it, Thanks for the comment appreciate it

If I was in the local shark research science group, I would hang out with you guys and tag the shark with one of those ping tags on the dorsal fin. This is much cheaper than going out in a boat and trying to catch them!

Yer but the whole reason we run gear that heavy is the saftey and quick release of the shark, and its more so drag capability, if u can run 40-50lb plus drag thats the main concern
