Its a beautiful city regardless of slums...Thats the beauty of this city just like manila,Mexico city and so on and so forth. Its unique that how rich and poor live in the same city and all have opportunities here. besides Bombay is ranked better than pakistani,Bangladeshi and other Worldly cities...so u should be proud. and yes we do have problems and they will be fixed by the time as far as slums are concerned i think they are beautiful it looks so amazing to see from the skies the skyscrapers and slums all together and Mumbai is noy alone Manila and Sao Paulo and Soul Gimpo have the same view while landing and take off.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! From around 5:20 to 5:59 that plane flies over more slums than all the slums in the USA combined. The density and poverty was unreal. They must have had 5 million people in slums just in that flight path.

Ya slums yes... but remember many slums are with millionaires. the slums are reduced drastically as compared to 1994 when I landed to this magic city. I have visited few international city. money power awesome here. 35 billionaires are there in this city. just remember this. Amchi Mumbai wow what a city it is !!!

True slums are actually beautiful there are only a few cities which give u such beautiful contrast of skyscrapers and slums and the other Ones being manila,Mexico city and Seoul gimpo. u see a similar crowded sight of slums while landing in these cities as well but thats the beauty and uniqueness of these cities which make them so special and tell why the city is called city of dreams. I love Mumbai.
