This is fun, I'm American and from northern CA. Flew into both these places in a 182. I also studied russian and lived/worked in russia for over a year. Now I've started my pilot training, this video is perfect! spasibo vam!

The only way to get to shelter cove is via plane I would not recommend suffering through the drive. Flying epically beautiful, driving sometimes quite frightening on that road.

It's a great place to go. Depending on where you're approaching from, it could be a fun, high altitude flight over the hills toward the coast, or a low level flight along the coast. Fun either way!

So one day you decided to pause Star Trek, then fly to Shelter Cove, while speaking English and Russian? That was an awesome video, I wanted to show my friends Shelter Cove from the air because I briefly rented a trailer on a cliff overlooking that city. I'm a KZbinr from Humboldt, and I'd like to go there to make a video but the road would destroy our older car - the road to Shelter Cove is the steepest road I've ever been on in California and it's known to destroy cars and RVs brakes. Flying is definitely the best way to get there.

Yeah. Definitely the first video with me on the right side. The video in the can is actually one of another flight, this time from Shelter Cove to Lampson in 01W - the departure scenery is pretty cool!

do you expert pilots realize why they go to all the trouble and expense of painting that HUGE white line on the center of the runways? you should try it out some time. if you are on final and a REAL pilot is behind and sees what he would see following you ignoramuses flopping around on the runway wherever the plane takes you? he would not be thinking positive thoughts about you nor would he get in a plane with you. understand the concept of PIC? does not look like you grasp the idea in any way!

@@mtyukin actually took very little time or effort to see the bad example you are setting for new pilots who watch your videos thinking this is the right way to do things! get on the centerline and stay there until you leave the runway. or stop making videos. your instructor should be reprimanded!
