They are called "saw horses" around here. Used by builders, etc., to hold their building materials that are being cut to size. Handy to hold flat wood for tables, now fishing rods. Good idea. Awesome job on that big ugly. Huge fish.
@GGAnglers9 ай бұрын
Thank you! It was huge💪 The saw horses are very convenient. I really like them, its also safer than running to the rocks to get the rod🙌

Asking two questions: what size hook? How do u keep those open reels to have birds nest?
@GGAnglers9 ай бұрын
Between size 10 and 13 circle hook. And the reels are conventional so you can adjust the drag. You have to manually organize the line
@bman_20249 ай бұрын
Ok, but even when I do it, I still get nests on a cast...@@GGAnglers

@GGAnglers9 ай бұрын
Thank you!! I used a Fish Venting Tool to regulate air pressure from its air bladder. We are catching these fish from deep water and the fast pressure change from them coming up makes gas build up in their air bladder. If you release them without venting them they will float and die

Ive always had love and passion for animals and the outdoors. I used to watch shows on Animal Planet and other channels that had outdoor shows. The one that truly got me into fishing was River Monsters. I never really fished maybe 2-3 times every summer until I was old enough to drive and have my car. I finally went on my own and started to really learn in 2020.
