I watched more of this than any RR video in the past year or more. The mostly relevant content, positive tone, editing, music and use of the DJI equipment really made it enjoyable. I feel weird even leaving a comment like this but hey 🤷🏻‍♂️

We all respect you Kabab. Before I even bought my first quad I watched all your videos, Im sure my KZbin name and real name Randall Hughes may seem familiar to you but very possibly not with how many people you converse with. It's nice to see you acknowledging rotor riot. Many of us in the community dont like things theyve done in the past but I've spoken directly to Mr. Kapper and hes Awesome and incredibly humble.

@@potjnkye86 hello Randall! Yes I remember you. I also remember being really excited when RR was just starting too. Still am hopeful they turn it around. All in all I think they help far more than they hurt since general FPV content I feel is lacking on KZbin. Amazing how much drama revolves around it all however. Their FB group however is disgusting last I was in there maybe two years ago. I left willingly after being harassed by a moderator. Dunno what's become of it now. I always believed the entity had so much unrealized potential. Instead they've created this problem for themselves where noobs discover them then loose all interest in all things RR after they gain a little experience. Given how things have unraveled recently, I actually think kapper is a secret genius that few people realize.... wish I had more time and energy for my own channel

Oh wow... this feels like a FliteTest episode from a few years ago! I love it; the FPV wing is beautiful in the sky; the chase is gorgeous and with the DJI system it's all in eye-watering HD. Keep up the multi rotor stuff for sure... but this is nice! More please!

Maybe you could contact Flitetest so they build a plane made for quad landing, with landing pads and some way to "hold" or stay in the wing, without affecting too much the cg. Maybe 2 landing pads. Maybe the quads could be smaller, say 3 inch, to make it easier to land and fit in an airplane surface.

This was very educational. I was slightly surprised especially the part at 8:23, where you can't have multiple DJI systems (camera + goggle sets) operating close to each other or they interfere with each other (can't believe you have to step away almost 8 feet from each goggle wearer to get solid/normal receiving transmission, despite being 3 channels apart). This will probably be fine tuned if the DJI starts becoming more standard for mid-long range flights. :) Keep it up guys, you're doing great!!! :)

The USAF used to launch mach 3 drones of the SR-71 Blackbirds at supersonic speeds back in the 60s. They even tried to land them (the D-12 drones) on the plane again in mid-air, but that's where ye old technology finally hit its limits and there was at least 1 crash. Enough for them say "OK, We might have gone a little to far here". Great vid :)

Fixed Wing + Chase quad is the best crossover ever :) You can get some epic shots when the object your following is much larger then a tiny quad. And there's nothing wrong with store bought :) You pay more, but save a ton of time. So its all what you value. And home built airframes tend to not be quite as efficient for those that fly longer range !.

Important note about flying wings in fpv. Fly fast in corner to prevent stalls. On a big wing it's not that bad but do that on a fun jet and you are gone :D

Stalling on the turns is only partly to do with the reduced speed - it's because you are adding a G force, which is supplied by the wing generating more lift to support the turn. At the same speed, the only way to get more lift out of the wing is for the angle of attack to increase, so even though you're not pointing the nose upwards relative to the horizon, the wing is at an increased angle relative to the airflow. Increasing your wing angle of attack brings you closer to stall, so your stall speed is higher in a turn - this is why flaps are used to increase wing lift at lower angles of attack for aircraft, to get the stall speed lower. When you enter a turn at a speed above stall speed but below the stall speed for that turn, it's called an "accelerated stall".

In a drone its nice to have but the fixed camera angle and the way you fly it seems like an unnecessary luxury to have digital HD

No! Buying is fine! After flying my Opterra I understand the loooooooooooong approach for landing. Glides like crazy. PS stall was because of CG probably. It's critical to be a little nose heavy on the Opterra.
