I was in Frankfurt about three months ago and the day I got home you uploaded a plane-spotting video. I don't believe my Dreamliner made the cut. Anyway Swiss you should go to Ramstein and plane spot. There are lots of C130s & C17s that fly in every day. If you are in the Hotel Europa parking lot where I stayed you get a pretty good view of them taking off.

Depends if you want to take pictures or videos. If just pictures, some DSLR will do just fine with a telephoto lens.

@@thataussieaviator Then I would buy something like a Panasonic HC-VXF1, because of the built in 24x zoom lens, 4K video and built in 5-Axis image stabilization. I'm pretty sure swiss001 is using a Panasonic HC-X2000, basically a bigger more professional version of the smaller panasonic videocameras. Then there is also a sony version that is a little bit more expensive, Sony FDR-AX53B.
