Shows the stress killed him and sets up Tommy dealing with running the company now and start the fracking of oil from previous drilled areas to get last of oil available to increase company value to sell of for the family…. Problem is Tommy’s son has started signing up the land holders to contracts for him to extract the oil left on their land which conflicts with Tommy

I like Monty's character and I do hope that he will return to the show eventually. His character is most important to the show's success because it shows what battles have to be fought away from the drill sites. Monty channel's his inner "Donald Trump" every day as he orchestrates the art of the deal. His character still has a lot to teach us about the business side of being in business in the oil patch. Maybe we should all take notes accordingly?
