Mortal Kombat is particularly known for over the top violence. Like actually flaunting and glorifying it. Also sexualizing women pretty heavily. How much that connects to actual demons is a matter of debate, but I played mortal Kombat 9 for a while and also got a pretty strong feeling of something being... just wrong. If you want a deeper understanding of these things, remnant radio has a pretty good series on dealing with the demonic.
