My wife is from Gapan and I am from Canada where it is now -13C and snowing (rather warn for this time of year to be honest). I've had the great opportunity to visit Gapan 3 times now and I miss the weather, but the truth I miss the people more. Almost everyone I met in Gapan City was very friendly and helpful, often inviting me to visit and eat or have a Red Horse beer with them. One day I decided to simply go for a walk along the street and a kind man came up to me concerned that I might be lost and offered to walk with me so I could find my way safely. I didn't need the help but it was a genuine offer and much appreciated. These were the kind of people I met there and I plan to go back and visit again when I can.
