"MISSING/PRESUMED STOLEN ALERT:
All of my NAMM guitars were delivered to the Anaheim convention center (and then to the location of the Boutique Guitar Showcase within the Anaheim Convention Center) on Friday, Jan 17. I arrived to set up my display on Tuesday, Jan 21. Some time between then, the box containing this Concorde was removed from the Boutique Guitar Showcase. I’ve communicated with Freeman (event management) and Allied Security and the guitar is presumed to be stolen.
I’m absolutely devastated. This, hands down, was the coolest guitar I’ve ever made. And it’s gone. "

Sorry to hear this. Ron Wood bought up a bunch of Zemaitis gtrs because they were so unique he was sure no one would steal them. Last I heard Wood was down to just one Zemaitis

You're a good man for making this video Landon! May I suggest folks link this info on their craigslist local listings....I found a friends stolen guitar on a craigslist add not far from where it was stolen. That was a good day...this guitar would not be easy to sell by the person who stole it.

People who steal other people's stuff SUCK! This incident reminds me of a similar incident, Joe Satriani's Chrome Boy "Pearly" was stolen from a show in FL, the same show I saw him playing it that night in 2022, it is still missing. I sure hope someone finds Sully's Concorde, I will be sure to spread the word. Thanks Landon.

@@Roy_Gaber I was at that show at Ruth Eckerd Hall and was beyond shocked when I heard the next morning that chrome boy was stolen. I lived about 2 miles from there, and to think possibly one of my neighbors was involved made me sick to my stomach. REH is an amazing venue and to think their security was so lax was also heartbreaking.

Anyone who has been in the business long enough will have a story or 2 about stolen gear. This guy was lurking around backstage in Ft. Collins Colorado. Luckily theere were 3 guys hanging in loading dock who saw him leaving with the guitar (65 Gibson 335) It was like "what's wrong with this picture"? The thief learned the hard way. But then so did we. Cops wanted to arrest 5 of us for extreme bodily harm. I have never felt good about this incident. It was a horrible mess all the way around. Violence has never solved anything. Except with that jerkoff.( we did get the guitar back)

What Trade Centre was the show held in? I use to work in the trade show industry. I can't tell you how many times a forklift driver put stuff off for guys to go through. If it was in a display, the only people who would be in the building at night are security and the cleaners. But also during the set up. People ar in and out and no one is really asking of you belong there or not. So I would bet someone just walked in during the ending of set up when everyone and their booths are rushing to make it look good great for opening took the guitar looking like they belong there and walked right out. The cameras hopefully caught them.

Anaheim Convention Centre. And the organisers said there are no cameras. Like you say, I imagine it's chaos during set-up day. I think we even got a flavour of that during Andy's first vlog. Maybe it's even possible the courier saw no-one there to accept delivery and that one never even left the back of his van.

@PaulCooksStuff I have been on the showroom floor plenty of times and seen so many people lose valuable merchandise during the setup. It's heartbreaking, especially in a case like this. It's not like it was Gibson or Fender or another big-name company. Hopefully whoever stole it tries to sell it to someone who knows it was stolen.

Offer to accept it returned no questions asked. Please just return it. If you put it all out there whoever stole it will now ditch it destroy it to not be caught...gotta be smart if u want it back

No security cams? It would seem a place like this would have security cams covering the entire place. Whoever the bottom-dweller was had to had been caught on a security camera. Union Local 504 probably did the setup. Maybe someone at 504 knows or…

@ Sorry this happened. Kinda odd tho. As it was described this could be considered art theft. Maybe from a guitar manufacturer this might sound unusual but could this fall under the category of the FBI’s “stolen art and cultural property?” Maybe contact them? IATSI Local 504 I am assuming assisted in Anaheim Convention Center set-up for this event. There are some very shady characters at 504(many are themselves musicians). Someone at 504 could have had early access to the facility. Good luck

What was the carrier service that was supposed to deliver the guitars• Did the guitars make it to the location before him or was he there when the package landed? And saying that the guitar was missing •Just trying to get a grasp

Fedex delivered my guitars to the convention center. Freeman, the company used for material handling/running the show delivered all of my guitars to the booth location. Sometime between then and when I arrived to the convention center for setup, the guitar was stolen.

Yes. A company called Lamphen Guitars had 11 guitars and some amps stolen from their booth during tear down.

@ no clue what they sold, but the public was gone; their theft happened after the show closed. When the show is over and tear down begins, we often have to wait hours for our shipping cartons to be returned to us. They cased up their guitars, and waited for their boxes to arrive. When they hadn’t been delivered by 10pm (5 hours after show close), they left the convention center for the night. Their stuff was stolen overnight, and the only people in there are people who are credentialed, the public is long gone by then. I guess this stuff happens all the time.
