I had the same question too so I researched why and came to the conclusion that wisdom was personified as a woman because the Hebrew word for wisdom, chokmah, is a feminine noun.

Yes to think of it ..before we/ I judge other for something, we should think for a second what would happen if Jesus judge us ..like we all have done mistakes no doubt ...and for don't judge other if you don't wanna judge by Jesus ..I guese in the end we all will bee surely judge for our did's is it right ? The word spirit in Hebrew is a gendered noun and it's feminine. He's clearly anthropomorphizing wisdom by using words like calling out and standing in the street. So to properly convey that in the English they use the pronoun she to convey the gendered noun.
