Landowner Engagement full length

This video shows farm advisors are working with farmers and landowners to identify opportunities for funding, design, and implement the best NFM measures to suit their land.
Participants in a workshop held at the West Yorkshire Flood Innovation Progamme (FLIP) Annual General Meeting, in May 2023, came up with the idea of producing a video to highlight advice and funding available to landowner and farmers for introducing NFM on their land.
The EU Basic Payment Scheme for farmers is finishing. Although this has come to an end, landowners can get advice from farm advisors within local voluntary organisations on alternative sources of funding for managing their land in a way that reduces flooding in the catchment. They can also get practical advice on the wide range of NFM interventions and their benefits.
