Edward Knight, I agree 100%! Doug is 'THE' most tasteful shredder (maybe an oxymoron there...probably what makes his playing so great) that I have ever heard in 35+ years of playing/gigging/listening to rock/metal/blues. Amazing guitar work Doug! My G3 was delivered last month and I can say that as amazing as the hi-gain channels sound, the clean side is simply superb! Like a Fender Twin squared...with a layer of tone that must be heard to really be appreciated. I agree with crusTodd, more people need to hear this amp!

I have one of Bill's G3 Ls 100 amps and it is balls to the wall, an amazing amp and sits on top of friedman BE 100 amp in my studio!

SaintFredrocks friedman is king of the low chugs, the Landry is the king of the dynamic midrange and clarity that seems to pop out impossibly out of the cloud , if that makes any sense to you lol. Both amps are absolutely in the same class with slightly different focuses. both high gain monsters. The Friedman is actually owned by my friend who dropped it off and its been here for about a month. He has dubbed the Landry amp the "crunchmaster". The Friedman is much darker overall. The Landry pops out with more mid range and treble if you want it and the reverb is a bonus very nice bonus as well. Really hard to try to pit one against the other as they absolutely can fill different shoes.

SaintFredrocks I just realized that I didn't actually answer your question, I would say I play the Landry 60 percent of the time and the freedmen 40 percent of the time, probably because I'm biased since the Landry I own and the Freeman is here on long term loan.
