We love watching your walking videos, thank you so much for all you have done Sarah and Andrew. Cornwall is such a beautiful place and we miss being able to go on holiday and walks because of my husbands disability, it is such a treat when you take us there.

Oh wow! (I sound like Sarah now!) But wow, my dreams have come true and we have an old fashioned walk with dogs. Love it, love it! So sorry that you can't manage to do more and sorry too I can't manage to support you on Patreon. I am disabled and can't do the long journey to Cornwall nowadays but it brings happy tears to my eyes to see you do the walks. I do hope you get a few more views this time. The last one on the Owl Man was brilliant tho too. I laughed so much! Must get hold of some of those old books. I will try to send a gift to buymeacoffee Xxx

Thank you for another lovely walk video. My husband and I walked from Land's End to Sennen several years ago so it was lovely to be reminded of that day. We caught the Coaster bus from St Ives (I think), got off at LE and then caught the one from Sennen to get back to St Ives. With a bus pass (yes we're old enough 😄) there's no parking to worry about.

Hi Sarah and Andrew. I enjoyed the history of your scenic walk today. It made a change to hear about Lands End from a non commercial side to have a glimpse into how people enjoyed it in the past.

Second comment: I was just thinking about what you said re accessibility on the path! If I could ever come there, I’d do everything I could to get in shape…and arrive with walking sticks in tow!😂 And there was a couple on the path doing exactly that! 😃

Have been to Lands End about 20 years ago, before all this camera parking nonsense, but just have to go there again and do this walk from Sennen Cove. Absolutely loved the two minute sketch of The Lands End plus lighthouse. But the best bit was your doggie digging diligently to the last moment. Thanks guys, and the history and stories make for avid viewing. Loved it all 😉😎

So nice to see you back walking the coast path with your adorable dogs, the scenery is stunning and so atmospheric, have really missed these walking videos which i know are not so viable for you but so good to see you go back to this format now and again as and when you are able to do so, we were going to do this very walk this year but never got round to it somehow, definitely one for us when we hopefully return to Cornwall next summer, there is nowhere else in Britain that has the atmosphere of the Cornish coastline , especially the most southerly parts, a joy to watch !

What a lovely video! Thank You for sharing👍 We have been fortunate enough to have spent some holiday time at "Tinker Taylor" with the last visit a few weeks back in September. Sennen Cove and it's surroundings are utterly, utterly beautiful and that walk to Lands End and back is amazing. The more inland route on the way back just shows how wonderfully different the landscape and vistas can be between the coast and ever so slightly inland. And finally, how cute are your lil Doggos!!!

Lovely vlog. That is sad about your views 😢.. I love your channel and walks.. I love your old books stories on your walks to. I find many YT I follow.. it takes ages to get their numbers increasing, but then it increases exponentially. One of my favourite "Positano Diaries " had small numbers until 1 video (about what was in an italian supermarket, during lockdown) which went viral. It was not her typical content, but it got her more views, which stayed even for her usual content. KingingIT had one viral "flying fish in wind" video which went viral and got them loads of new viewers. We need to come up with something that will get you a more "viral" video to get new subscribers. Definitely your murder mysteries... but maybe do some fun walks with stories about mythical creatures eg. fairies, knockers, mermaids etc

Great video, as always. I've run the route that you've walked. The family stayed in Seaview Caravan Park in 1998. I ran from the Caravan park, into Sennen and back via the coastal path, Lands End and the A30. Some great runs round there. Sennen to The Minack is really nice too.

It’s free to park at lands end of your a Cornwall resident, just give them proof of residency like driving licence and they put your reg in the system, just park up and pop in the visitor centre. You only have to do it once. 😉

I always loved your walk videos and it's great to see you doing that again - I love your other videos too mind! From what I've gathered, Dr Johnson's Head is the name of the headland itself, that the hotel and 1st & Last House are situated on. Dr Syntax's Head is the headland to the south of that. The rock formation in the old photo and drawing is also called Dr Johnson's OR Dr Syntax's head (more commonly Syntax it seems) - so a bit of confusion there. Back in the '70s Land's End was all open and I remember going down to look for Dr Syntax, which I'm pretty sure was down among the pillars of granite below the 1st & Last House - which was apparently built in the late 1800s and not to be confused with the 1st & Last Inn in Sennen. The Land's End Hotel was apparently built in 1860 as a temperance hotel - presumably so guests didn't get drunk & tried to ride their horses down the cliffs! Many thanks for the brilliant video as always.

I always enjoy your videos and was thrilled to see Sennen Cove in today's. It's one of our special places after many happy holidays there. Great to see you and your dogs enjoying it, I laughed so much at the digging! Your old books are fascinating, always something to learn or wonder about (even when it is sad, like that poor horse). Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

An annual subscription to the National Trust is soon covered by saved parking charges. Alternatively, there are still roads in Camborne where you can park for free and if you step it out, Sennen and Land's End is a nice day's outing. The last I heard, parking at Hell's Mouth was still free. If you are in the know, there are still some wheezes that can be pulled but the Bolsheviks are making it impossible to do anything in Cornwall. I now live in East Dorset 3 miles west of Ringwood. You can park on miles of residential roads around me for free and for as long as you like. There is a car park for the "country park" in Ringwood Forest. They charge an arm and a leg to park in the car park. Park near me for free and you can be in the forest in less than 200 yards. It is a bit of a long walk into Ringwood and all-day parking in Ringwood is £20 and the roads are plastered with yellow lines. In October, we wanted a day in London using National Express from and back to Ringwood (the nearest railway stations ... Bournemouth and Brockenhurst are 14 miles away ... and PARKING CHARGES). Our coach leaving Ringwood at 5.55 a.m. and getting back close to midnight would require all day parking so £20 if we didn't want to walk 3 miles each way ...... BUT .... about a mile out of Ringwood, there is a car park for a long distance walking trail and it is free, and other than some afternoons in late July/early August, the car park is three-quarters empty. Bearing in mind the walking in London ... Victoia through Hyde Patk, tube Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road (standing) and then several miles in the British Museum, then hunting for something to eat on our way back to the National Gallery for the Van Gogh exhibition, up the Mall, past Buckingham Palace front garden and back to Victoria, a mile walk at each end in and out of Ringwood to save 20 quid was nothing. I am back in deepest Slovakia again for the Winter (the daylight hours are longer and brighter in the Winter than in Britain and electricity is only 10 pence per kWh). Here, parking is free almost everywhere including nearly all railway stations and all hospitals. When I explain about parking charges at our hospitals, Slovaks are absolutely horrified. Even in Bratislava, the capital, on-street parking is only charged 8 a.m. - 4.p.m. Monday to Friday. Even though I am English, because I am retired, I have free travel on Slovak trains. I could get a free pass for the buses as well but I can't be bothered. From our village to the local town is 3 miles and the bus fare is 30 Eurocents (22 pence) on very comfortable buses. If we are shopping, we always drive anyway. Všetko najlepšie (All that is best).

In addition to my previous comment, the Irish Lady rock seems to be named after the ghost of a woman who was shipwrecked there and can supposedly be seen occasionally - as is a portent of doom for anyone who sees her. So lucky for you that you didn't - and for us, presumably, that she wasn't on the video!
